Finishing the edges of a glass substrate is an uninterrupted process, allowing us to deliver a safe product. A cut edge is the sharp edge created when glass is scored and vented. Seamed edges produce a small bevel that is safer to handle, less likely to chip. Most finished glass parts are seamed on both sides, in addition, corners can be dubbed. Ground edges have a finish that has a satin appearance. Polished edges have a smooth shiny appearance. Cat-i has capability to finish edges with ground or polished flat or pencil profiles.
