Open Positions

Quality Technician

Perform Inspection of in-coming product, first-piece inspections and finished materials as needed. Development of quality documents where applicable. Data collection and analysis of job rates on a weekly basis. Inform supervisor when unfavorable trends are observed. Assist others to conduct effective Root Cause Analysis (Internal Investigations) and Corrective Actions (CAR) on quality issues Promptly communicate and address quality issues with set-up technicians and supervisor. Communicate quality feedback (within 24 hours) with Sales, Production and Engineering through the customer supplied sample (CSUPP) evaluation process. Assist production with disposition of materials, parts or manufactured items following NCR process Support, train and initiate quality control processes in production. Perform tests ranging in complexity for evaluation of glass, components and assemblies. Performs other duties as assigned.

Manufacturing Supervisor:

5+ years experience supervising ten or more employees in a manufacturing environment. Detail oriented Able to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment Able to multi-task Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent communication skills (Bilingual Spanish a plus) Must be able to lead by example Must be able to read and understand blue prints Experience in using measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers required Experience in a multi process manufacturing environment and in a job shop a plus

Process Engineer

Engineering role to design and optimize manufacturing processes. 4+ years experience in manufacturing as an engineer Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering 2D CAD experience required Improve production processes for efficiency Troubleshoot machine and program issues Assist in training employees on equipment Create and maintain documentation for manufacturing instructions, maintenance and production metrics Specify machinery, supplies and techniques for  new and existing processes Create and maintian CAD data for process layouts, machinery and product

Manufacturing Technician

Cat-i Glass is currently installing equipment in a second production facility and has multiple openings for Equipment Setup & Maintenance Technicians. The successful candidate will have 3 or more years of work experience in a hands-on production environment. The position requires a team player who will stay closely involved with the manufacturing processes they’re supporting. The ideal candidate should have a broad understanding of precision machining & measuring, HMI’s/PLC’s, pneumatics and electrical motors. Must be good communicator and have excellent document control acumen.  These are the first new positions to be filled in a new facility with extremely high potential to evolve into a lead or supervisory role.

Education / Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED. Additional technical schooling or formal technical training is desired.
  • Three or more years of work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage routine hands-on tasks efficiently and independently.
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail and closely follow work instructions.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills to troubleshoot problems and improve processes.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with multiple departments.
  • Willingness and capability to cross-train across departments and fill any manufacturing role.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office suite software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Familiarity with industrial computers and human-machine interfaces is desired.
  • Willingness and ability to potentially work flexible, rotating shifts.
  • Some positions require the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • US Citizenship

Other Positions:

Screen Press Set-up Technician.

  • Experience setting up screen printing presses preferred.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and use measuring equipment.

CNC Set-up Technician

  • Mastercam, G-code and Autocad experience preferred
  • 4+ Years experience setting up CNC machining centers including the ability to
    • Make tool offsets
    • Call up and modify existing and new programs
    • Adjust work coordinates
    • Prepare tools and fixturing
  • Must be able to read blueprints and use measuring equipment.
